Abstract The increasing adoption of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) as a key component of modern energy grids has brought a significant focus on optimizing power flow management and energy efficiency. Embedded systems play a pivotal role in controlling and monitoring these systems, ensuring reliability and performance. This paper explores methodologies for managing power flows in BESS through advanced embedded systems, emphasizing algorithms for load balancing, energy distribution, and real-time decision-making. It also highlights techniques to enhance energy efficiency, including adaptive power routing, thermal management, and the integration of machine learning for predictive analytics. The proposed approach demonstrates improved energy utilization, extended battery life, and reduced operational costs, making it a vital solution for sustainable energy storage systems.
