Abstract | Airline management systems are critical infrastructures that require high availability, reliability, and resilience against potential disasters, including cyberattacks, system failures, and natural calamities. Cloud-based disaster recovery (CBDR) strategies have emerged as an efficient approach to ensuring business continuity and minimizing operational disruptions. This study explores the effectiveness of cloud-based disaster recovery plans in the airline industry, analyzing best practices, challenges, and real-world implementations. The findings suggest that cloud-based solutions offer scalability, automation, and faster recovery times, enhancing system resilience. Case studies from leading airlines highlight the successful deployment of cloud-based recovery strategies, showcasing improvements in downtime reduction and cost efficiency. Despite security concerns and compliance challenges, cloud-based disaster recovery is essential for modern airline operations, ensuring seamless recovery and continuity in the face of disruptions. |
